Our history

Enorecords Snc from 1960, founded by Princess Stella Eno Osagie.

Enorecords LLC, previously called “Enorecords SNC” is the home of major recording artists , music legends like Evi Edna Ogholi, King Wadada, Winning Jah, blessed memory of Lucky Dube band and Sidney Leo. Enorecords Snc, had been responsible for sucessful Vinyl and Cassette distribution and sales for music legends like Fela Kuti, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Ebenezer Obey and Amb. Osayomore Joseph in mid years of the 1970’s , 1980’s to 1990’s.

The record label had management struggles in the 70’s and finally closed down in late 90’s due to the company management and while the founder went into a knitting company by the name “Stella best Knitters Company” known for Edo state biggest knitting institute of cardigans. They were also partnering with Guiness Plc, Edo College, Adolo College, Egba Grammar School, Benin Technical school, Singer Ltd. The company won ‘Best institute of the year’ honored by Minister of Trade and Industry Lucky Umoru.

In 2003, Kingsley Eno Osagie , aka Winning Jah, (Nigerian reggae star) and also the son of the founder, officially rebranded the label in Italy, registered and now operated with a new name as Enorecords LLC, with services like signing artists with a record deals , distribution deal, publishing deal etc. The company had been managing various artists from Nigeria. and beyond. In 2020, the record label succeeded in selling 2 million units of Evi Edna Ogholi’s new EP “Peace and Love” with the rare system of physical printed CD distributions, in collaboration with their partner Kunaki LLC, which sold over 2 million units in Brazil, Portugal, Nigeria and Gambia. We are  music publisher, artiste management and a multimedia entertainment company established to supply profitable, acceptable, audio and visual entertainment to diverse domestic and international consumers. The company is committed to professionally produce impeccable creative arts works that would be domestically edible and to transcends borders, as we sincerely believe that, quality edible art works can be produced without lowering societal moral standards in a quest for commercial appeal.

We plan to produce  and manage International and indigenous artists. Art works that would fit universal standards. These would cover a broad spectrum of the Creative Arts industry, in music; it would span from Hi & hip Life, Jazz, Contemporary Christian Music, Dancehall, Reggae  and so on, whereas the movie productions would mirror every aspect of global socio-culture, economic and political phases, worthy of our lenses to be subject to our editorial policy in our bid to inform, educate and entertain. The company already has established ties with various artists in the industry, and plans to search for new artists to market and produce in due course.
