Dyckoy (Dancehall|Rapper|Producer|Reggae and Afrobeat singer)

Oton Mccoy popularly known by his stage name Dyckoy, is a Nigerian veteran rap star, a prolific songwriter and a beat maker. He became prominent after he released his debut single “Story” in 1990, the song was then popular among kids and it also gained some local govt area’s attention, to be banned by public officers for political unfriendly reasons.

In 2014, he vacated from Nigeria music industry to reside in Abidjan, the video of “Story” was then published on YouTube. He signed a record deal with Ogb records, under the indie label he released another critically acclaimed single in both audio and visual titled “Jeje”, briefly after he released an ongoing hit song “Skelebe”, Which was widely received with stunts on Trace Urban radio and other radio stations in Abidjan.
Dyckoy is also one of early pioneers, known for Pidgin language Rapper in Nigeria. He had won various prestigious awards to his name.
